SDV – Die Medien AG is Direct Mail Printer of the Year
On Thursday, 19.10.2006, SDV – Die Medien AG won the Druck&Medien Award 2006 for “Direct Mail Printer of the Year”
Dresden, 24th October, 2006 – Last Thursday the German printing industry met in Berlin for the second Druck&Medien Awards. A splendid gala in the Berlin Hyatt was the background for the handing out of awards in 19 categories.
SDV AG applied for the second time as direct mail printer and this year was rewarded for its efforts. More than 120 presentations in different categories are a sign of the sporting ambition of the industry.
Chairman of the Board Christoph Deutsch (37) is pleased: “A wonderful event, a nice prize and above all a big thank you to our employees who take on and master major challenges every day.”
Only in January 2006 did SDV AG take over the Weidenberg location of Winter AG with 74 employees. Near Bayreuth SDV Winter GmbH, with the production of large format mailings, generates more than 14 million euros.
Here Christoph Deutsch said the following: “With the takeover of SDV Winter GmbH, our product range has been expanded several fold. Together with our digital print subsidiary SDV Direct World GmbH, we now offer the complete range of offset, digital printing and endless rotation.”
