sdz GmbH - Direct World is regional winner in Deutsche Post Mailing Competition 2005
(Dresden, May 10, 2005) On Wednesday, May 4 2005, Dresden sdz GmbH Direct World, the regional winner in the Deutsche Post Mailing Competition 2005, was promoted to the second round, the nationwide competition. The company ranked first in the “Agency House Advertising” category and is now among the best of the best.

Biosphäre Potsdam hosted the awards show. In a pleasant atmosphere, all participants eagerly waited for the announcement of the regional champions from the eastern German states. The mailing competition comprises four categories: Standard Format, Open Format, Partially Addressed Mailings, and Agency House Advertising. sdz GmbH Direct World is now entitled to display the Mailing Competition logo for a whole year.
The submitted mailing won over the judges by a clever combination of offset and digital printing. The eye-catcher was a postcard fanfold with a personalized image as a mailing booster. sdz GmbH developed the platform-independent DirecType® software. The image personalization software allows any photograph to be personalized for the recipient. At the same time, the mailing showcased the DirectAd® innovation and invited the reader to visit the sdz GmbH at the DIMA 2004 in Düsseldorf.
